Determine your goals – Set some S.M.A.R.T (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound) goals for your content. What are you ultimately trying to achieve, which tools and tactics will best get you there, and how will you know when you’ve achieved it? Write those down so you have a guide to keep you focused and accountable.
Decide on your platforms – There are many platforms to deliver content through: social media, websites, blogs, emails – you’ll want to figure out the best outlets to reach your target audience and how you need to tweak your content to appeal to your audience on each platform.
Create a content calendar – Take some time to plan out your content for the month ahead. Is there a theme for the month? Is there an event or product launch you’re promoting?
